Hi there. My name is Marisa Buelter. I am the proud owner of Nest to Breast Doula Services. I offer Birth Doula services as well as overnight newborn care otherwise known as a postpartum night doula. I was called into birth work after having my fifth baby. It wasn’t until then that I realized there is an entire different way to give birth then the “traditional” hospital way. My last birth made me reflect on my other four births (especially my first as a very young mom) and I found myself wishing those stories were different. My goal is to take my personal experience, my knowledge and my Christian faith to help other woman feel empowered and educated to have the birth they envision. I am also passionate in helping new moms with the joys of breastfeeding.

As a mom, I understand how physically, emotionally, and spiritually transformative the journey into motherhood can be. It is truly an honor to walk alongside families—offering education, encouragement, and hands-on support through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum season. I am especially passionate about empowering families with knowledge, supporting breastfeeding journeys, and creating space for women to feel seen, heard, and cared for.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do. It shapes the way I serve, love, and show up for families, and I feel deeply called to this work.
In addition to my doula work, I am honored to volunteer and serve on the board of The Luke Project 52 Clinic of Flint, a mission that is incredibly close to my heart. Being part of this work—serving women and families in both joyful and challenging seasons—has deeply impacted my life and purpose.

Stephanie Eberly
Birth Doula
I’m Stephanie with Gentle Birthing and my interest in birth work was awakened the day my first child was born in 2010 at home, surrounded by our midwife and birthing team. It was at that point I realized that more women need to know their birthing options. We had 4 more home water births in South Carolina before returning to Southeast Michigan where we welcomed our 6th child at home in 2020.
I hope to support expecting mothers in the ways I have received encouragement and support from the birth workers in my life. Their support changed the way I thought about birth and what I was capable of doing.

Mary Beth Likkel
Birth doula, Bereavement doula and CLC
Servicing Grand Rapids and the lakeshore.
Hey there! My name is Mary Beth Likkel. I am a bilingual (Spanish) certified birth and bereavement doula, CLC, and a mom to two kiddos born in 2016 and 2020. Back then, I didn't even know what a doula was, but I had two really positive birth experiences on my own. Now, I'm pumped to help others have the same kind of awesome birth adventure.
I'm super excited to support you through pregnancy, birth, and parenthood, especially if you're feeling a bit nervous about it all. I want to show you that birth doesn't have to be scary or traumatic. It might not go exactly as planned, but it can still be a positive experience where you feel empowered and proud.
Becoming a birth doula wasn't part of my original plan, but I believe it was in God's plan. I started my journey with DONA certification in October 2022, and within three weeks, I attended my first birth. Each birth I've supported has been so different and beautiful in its own way—I've loved every minute of it. It's a privilege to support both men and women as they step into parenthood, and I can't wait to see where this new calling takes me next.
Outside of doula work, I am known for being outgoing, driven, organized, and protective of those I care for and love. In my free time, I love to be outside with my husband, 2 kids, and 2 German Shepherds. I also love to bake and I am a HUGE New Orleans Saints fan (and just an NFL fan in general).

I am a birth doula and birth photographer. As a mother of both a cesarean and a VBAC birth, I understand the emotional and physical depth that birth can hold, and the importance of feeling supported, informed, and truly seen throughout the process.
My approach centers on self trust, education, and intuitive support. I believe birth is not something to be controlled, but something to be experienced, and my role is to walk alongside you as you navigate your options, advocate for your needs, and move through your birth in a way that feels right for your body and your baby.
I have a deep appreciation for VBAC journeys and the layered preparation they often require, while supporting all paths to birth with the same level of care and respect.
Alongside hands on support, I document your birth with a quiet, intentional presence, capturing the moments you may not see but will carry with you for a lifetime.

I believe in God’s perfect design for a woman to carry and birth her baby. I’ve always felt called to pregnancy and birth work but the calling became crystal clear while preparing for my second child and first homebirth.
I am a self proclaimed “birth nerd” and am happy to talk at length on fertility awareness/NFP, conception, pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, and newborn care. I want every mom to have all the possible information to help her make informed choices about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My goal is to help women reclaim their confidence in their God-given ability to give birth and mother.

Birth & Postpartum Doula, Sleep Coach, Childbirth Educator
Hi, I’m Lauren — a doula, pediatric sleep coach, and educator serving families in Metro Detroit. I’ve been walking alongside new parents in doula work since 2008, and I’m the proud founder of Detroit Dreams Tonight, offering in-home postpartum care and infant and toddler sleep support. I also own an Etsy shop called The Daily Doula Co with faith-filled goods and apparel for birthworkers and moms.
As a mama and former insomniac, I understand firsthand how exhausting and isolating the early days of parenting can be. I believe the Lord called me into this work to help mothers find their intuition, rest, nourishment, confidence, and peace in this sacred and beautifully intense season of life. I am passionate about supporting parents with practical tools, emotional support, education, and a steady presence.
When I’m not helping out families, I’m enjoying life with my husband and daughter, swimming, gardening, reading, baking bread, or sipping a delicious cup of coffee.

Birth Doula
Greetings!
My name is Christine Scarlett and I would love to serve you as you navigate all stages of pregnancy and parenting. I live in NW Ohio and also serve Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti and SE Michigan within a 60 mile radius of my home. I am a lifelong Christian. As a young woman I was influenced by a book called Sequencing, Having it All, But Not All At Once, and have been blessed to live that lifestyle. I earned a BSN in 1981, then married my college sweetheart. I worked as an RN in pediatrics, Peds ICU, and child psych before staying home to raise our seven children holistically. During that time I also served as a La Leche League Leader and taught parents Infant Massage. I home educated for 27 years and have also worked one morning a week at a home education co-op offering Montessori-inspired early childhood enrichment program, since 2014. As an empty-nester I began serving my own adult children as a postpartum doula, eventually becoming a certified birth and postpartum doula as well as a Certified Lactation Counselor. I have taken ServSafe training in safe food handling, and also belong to a group of professional organizers in order to better help families set up peaceful environments. More recently I have completed training as a Gift Registry Advocate to assist parents in curating a list of essentials for their new arrival. I especially enjoy helping families pursuing normal, physiologic births, both in the community and in hospitals. My own experiences include a cesarean followed by six VBAC's, then a miscarriage. I have given birth in the hospital and at home, including waterbirth. I enjoyed many years of breastfeeding with child-led weaning. You can learn more about me at www.doulamatch.net, www.bornbir.com, or you can call me at home, (419)893-4318. My email is nine4life@juno.com. I go the extra mile for my clients.

Birth Doula
Hello there. My name is Micah and I have been a birth doula for 7 years. I am also a student midwife and will officially begin my studies in the fall of 2026. In addition to both work, I am a teacher by trade, a small business owner, a singer, songwriter and musician, and a world traveler. I have had the opportunity to learn from indigenous midwives in three different continents and have a passion for learning about pregnancy and birth traditions in various cultures. I am also bilingual (Spanish) and working on my third language (French). During my free time (which I have very little of), you can usually find me in the kitchen baking up sourdough, decorating a cake, or making nutrient dense meals full of unique flavors. I also love to garden and am currently studying herbal medicine. The most important thing about me is that I am a daughter of the King. Without Jesus, I would be nothing, and my purpose wouldn’t be nearly as impactful. Everything I do is for His glory.
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula & Childbirth Educator
Hello Beautiful,
I am Aris, owner of Call the Doula LLC. I am a Christian Mom to 5 and Registered Nurse of 14 years. After working in Labor and Delivery for many years I found that I was unable to serve my patients the way that I wanted. I decided to change things up and become a doula to better support Families. This switch allowed me to use my nursing background as well as support my clients with education, before they got to the hospital. I have been a part of hundreds of births and every one is unique and special. God has blessed me to be able to pursue this calling over my life and I do not take it lightly. I believe birth is natural, but first I believe in each and every person that I serve. Choosing an epidural doesn’t mean you failed, choosing a homebirth doesn’t make you crazy, choosing to birth at a hospital does not mean you cannot have the birth you want. I want to support your decisions with Evidence-based information to ensure the best outcome for you and your family.
When I am off duty I love camping, reading, nature and homeschooling my starting 5.
I service Wayne, Washtenaw, Oakland and Macomb Counties. I am also a Medicaid Doula Provider. Feel free to checkout my website to get started: https://callthedoulallc.com

Birth Doula
Hi! :) I’m Ella, the doula behind
Evangeline Birth Co.
When asked why I decided to step
into this work, I would say it’s
because of my love for all things
birth and babies, as well as my
desire to support women, coming
alongside them and their families,
and equipping them to give birth
with courage and joy.
Besides being a doula, I am,
amongst other things, a lover of
truth, goodness, and beauty, an
adventurous homebody XD, a
friend to those the Lord has placed
in my life, and a child of God.

Certified Birth Doula, Certified Postpartum Doula Certified, Naturopathic Practitioner
Service area : within an hour of Ingham and Eaton counties

Hello! My name is Hannah, and I am the founder of Wonderful Creation. I provide birth and postpartum doula services within an hour of Eaton and Ingham Counties. I am the wife of a wonderful husband and the mother of four incredible children.
I became a doula because I believe childbirth is a sacred and God-designed process. I have a deep respect for physiological birth and for the strength, wisdom, and resilience God has woven into each woman. My heart is to walk alongside mothers with compassionate, Christ-centered support—offering encouragement, education, and advocacy so they feel confident, informed, and upheld throughout their birth journey.
While a healthy baby is a blessing we pray for, I believe the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of the mother matters deeply too. Every woman deserves to feel supported, honored, and empowered as she brings new life into the world.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made-YOU are the Wonderful Creation.

Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula
Service Area: Metro Detroit.
Hi there! I’m Janelle—a Catholic mom to (currently) three little ones. While my primary vocation is motherhood, God has also called me to walk alongside other women as a birth doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding supporter.
I believe that birth is an extraordinary physiological event, not a medical emergency. It is beautifully designed by God to unfold as a natural process. It is our task to understand His perfect design so we can work with it. When we rely on Him, we can have a birth that is beautiful, peaceful, and holy, even when it doesn’t go according to our plan.
My faith is central to the support I give. I believe God is the Great Midwife—the first to be consulted in all things, but especially in the gift of life and the sacred work of bringing it forth.
I also believe that while evidence-based information is essential for families, it is not the whole picture. A mother’s intuition—often the gentle prompting of the Holy Spirit—should never be dismissed or taken lightly when making decisions.
I support families through a threefold approach: faith, intuition, and evidence-based care, all rooted in a deep respect for God-designed, physiologic birth. Because families deserve more than a birth story that ends with, “at least the baby is healthy.” They deserve births that are also happy and holy.

Birth & Postpartum Doula, CBE, AND CLC
Currently service Bay, Saginaw, Midland and Genesee Counties.
Hi, I’m Beth, the heart behind Born To Bloom Doula Care. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and lactation counselor. I live in Bay City and currently service Bay, Saginaw, Midland and Genesee Counties.
I have a deep passion for supporting families through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. Walking alongside moms during such a transformative time in their lives is truly one of the greatest blessings God has given me.
I have over 30 years of experience as a medical assistant, which allows me to combine clinical knowledge with compassionate, personalized care. In addition to doula support, I am a lactation counselor, childbirth educator, CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician), pediatric sleep coach, and CPR instructor, so I’m able to support families in a well-rounded, practical way at every stage of their journey.
My heart for this work is also shaped by my own experiences and family. I am happily married to a man named Chris who is my rock and supports my journey as a doula fully. I am a proud mom to one biological daughter and two bonus children who I love more than anything. My experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness of every family no matter how it is formed.
I truly love being a doula. Supporting, encouraging, and educating moms as they step into motherhood (or grow their families) fills my heart in a way nothing else can. I believe God has called me to this work, and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to serve, uplift, and walk alongside families during some of the most important moments of their lives.
Being part of the Christian Doulas of Michigan community is such an honor, and I’m grateful to be able to serve with faith, compassion, and purpose.
